Quality management and certification
Taste and quality are primary criteria for our customers. Therefore, we pay attention to the compliance of our suppliers and partners with all necessary quality assurance measures as well as certifications of raw materials and products.
Our selected suppliers are distinguishing themselves by their HACCP-system, certified quality management system and EU organic seal of approval. We hold organic and kosher certificates and have successfully passed the assessment according to the IFS Global Markets Foods.
The products we manufacture are subject to strict quality requirements and are extensively tested. We cooperate with various independent and accredited laboratories to ensure the highest quality standards. There, additional or customer specific checks can be carried out at any time.
Conservation of resources and raw materials
What is our understanding of sustainability? In our eyes sustainability is not limited to using the available energy or water resources in a sustainable manner, i.e., in an economically sensible way and with the future in mind. Sustainability also means making maximum use of available resources when it comes to raw materials.
Viridi Foods for example incorporates the three pillars of sustainability „ecology, economy and social matters“ into its daily activities and supplier selection process, among others by means of joint workshops. The measures defined and planned for implementation, such as a Code of Conduct for employees and suppliers enable step-by-step improvements at all levels of the added value process and the supply chain.
